Two weeks after the conclusion of the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS 2026), which ran from June 4 to 7, 2026 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) reported a final tally of 55,544 visitors during the show’s 4-day run. Under the theme “Forward in Every Drive”, PIMS 2026 brought together car brands, government agencies, industry stakeholders, and car enthusiasts in a showcase of technologies, vehicles, and ideas shaping the future of mobility in the Philippines.

Participating exhibitors included American, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese car brands such as BAIC, Chery, Foton, Geely, Honda, Isuzu, Jetour, Kia, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda & Jaecoo, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, and VinFast. “The positive response from those who participated in PIMS 2026 reflects the strength of the automotive industry and the importance of diverse, energy-efficient, and reliable mobility to Filipinos,” said CAMPI President Jing Atienza.

Continuous Evolution of the Philippine Auto Industry
PIMS 2026 highlighted the industry’s continued evolution, featuring a wide range of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines (ICE), hybrids and plug-ins (HEV/PHEVs), electric vehicles (EVs), and new energy vehicles (NEVs), as well as innovations on safety, efficiency, connectivity, and sustainability. There were 26 vehicle launches and product unveilings, 100 vehicle displays including test drive units, technology showcases, and interactive displays, which gave visitors an insight into the car manufacturers response to the changing needs of Filipino consumers.

The 17 participating car brands turned their areas into immersive destinations that included interactive activities, hands-on demonstrations, celebrity appearances, and live performances, which created a dynamic experience for the show goers. PIMS 2026 also featured a dedicated automotive aftermarket zone, bringing together leading providers of tires, lubricants, performance parts, accessories, car care products, and vehicle enhancement solutions that highlighted the importance of the aftermarket sector in vehicle ownership, maintenance, and personalization.

Motul oils and lubricants was one of the major sponsors of PIMS 2026, occupied a large booth at the dedicated auto aftermarket zone, and offered good deals on their products during the show.
A Gathering of Auto Enthusiasts
PIMS 2026 also served as a gathering point for various car clubs and car enthusiasts who represent the participating brands. The car community drove and displayed their vehicles in front of the World Trade Center in a celebration of shared passion. A strong network of sponsors and partners, including Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and Motul oils and lubricants, further enhanced the overall visitor experience.

Opening Ceremony and Keynote Speeches
The opening ceremony started at 9:00 AM and gathered automotive industry executives, government representatives, stakeholders, partners, media, and car enthusiasts. Director Patrick Aquino of the Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Utilization and Management Bureau, underscored the importance of sustained collaboration between government and industry. CAMPI President Jing Atienza emphasized the Philippine auto industry’s commitment to shaping a more inclusive and responsive future.

After the keynote speeches, the doors of the show were opened exclusively for the VIP guests and the media until 11:00 AM, when the general public were allowed into the exhibition halls, where the 17 participating brands unveiled their latest vehicle offerings, mobility technologies, and interactive experiences.

BAIC Philippines
BAIC Philippines joined PIMS for the first time but showcased its vision for modern mobility and a new era of intelligent, capable, and electrified driving. The BAIC Modern Mobility Booth displayed their lineup of SUVs and NEVs, including the B40e Trailmaster rEV, a PHEV with a combined driving range of up to 1,200 kilometers; the B60e Beaumont rEV, and the B30e Dune Hybrid. BAIC’s debut was graced by their newest brand ambassadors, Benjie, Kobe and Andre Paras, who embody the new “Drive Big with BAIC” slogan.

“Driving big isn’t about size. It’s about giving Filipinos more room to live and the confidence to take on whatever the road brings. That’s the kind of vehicles we build, and the kind of driver we build it for,” said Timothy Sytin, BAIC Brand Head and UAAGI Director.
Chery Auto Philippines
Like BAIC, Chery Auto Philippines is part of the United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI). Chery showcased the Tiggo rEV 7-seater PHEV SUV and gave a sneak preview of the all-new Q Smart EV Cruiser, which they are promoting as the cutest and easily accessible compact EV that’s priced at P1,120,000 with a driving range of 405 kilometers on a single charge. The Chery pavilion displayed three Chery Q Smart EV models, with two in various states of customization to highlight the ease of personalizing one.

Foton Motor Philippines
Foton was the very first Chinese automotive brand that was brought into the Philippines by UAAGI. Foton Motor Philippines (FMP), under the helm of General Manager Levy Santos has become a formidable fixture in the commercial vehicle sector. FMP featured a diverse lineup of EVs that included the Traveller Sierra electric passenger van, TransVan i7 electric delivery/panel van, Harabas TM300 electric light commercial vehicle (LCV), Auman EST 6×4 electric tractor head, and Coach EV electric bus.
Geely Motors Philippines
Geely Motors Philippines (GMP) revealed the suggested retail price (SRP) of the Geely EX2 electric subcompact hatchback ahead of its launch and introduced a pre-launch reservation promo. GMP also showcased their EX5 electric and EX5 EM-I PHEV compact crossovers, as well as their Coolray compact 5-door SUV, Emgrand compact 4-door sedan, and Okavango Elite 5-door multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) ICE models.

Honda Cars Philippines
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) officially launched the new stylized Honda logo and previewed its e:HEV lineup, that included the Civic RS sport sedan, HR-V RS compact crossover, and CR-V RS all-wheel drive (AWD) SUV. HCPI also showcased their City Pearl Edition compact hatchback, the Prelude sports coupe and a couple of electric motorcycle models.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) chose to be different and stuck to their guns by featuring an all-ICE diesel-powered lineup that featured their highly-popular Isuzu D-Max midsize pickup truck, mu-X midsize SUV, and Traviz light commercial vehicle in customized versions. Under its “Built for Those Who Choose to be Different” theme, IPC playfully flaunts the new 2026 Isuzu D-Max 4×4 as the “Real Truck”.

Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc.
Jetour, another auto brand under the UAAGI umbrella, enjoined show goers that it’s “Time to Switch. Upgrade to Electric”. Jetour Auto Philippines (JAPI) previewed the T1, T2, and X70 Lightning i-DM PHEV SUV models, and showcased the GAIA G700 PHEV premium full-size SUV. JAPI had the most number of celebrity brand ambassadors including Ella Cruz & Julian Trono, Camille Prats-Yambao & VJ Yambao, long-time brand partners Team Kramer, and newest brand ambassadors Lucky Manzano & Jessy Mendiola.

Kia Philippines
Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, teased the motoring public with a sneak peak of the EV3 electric compact SUV, PV5 electric passenger van, and the Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid midsize SUV, which will be launched in July 2026. Kia Philippines also displayed their Sonet compact SUV, Sorento Turbo Hybrid 7-seat full-size SUV, Carnival Turbo Hybrid passenger van, EV5 compact and EV9 full-size electric SUVs, and announced a special PIMS 2026 promo price for the Sonet, Sorento and Carnival DX.

“Kia’s showcase offers mobility that moves with you. We are making forward-thinking mobility closer and more rewarding for every Filipino,” stated Jay Lopez, Managing Director of Kia Philippines.

Carla Buencamino, ACMobility Head of Mobility Infrastructure, talked about the ACMobility EV charging stations that now number more than 200 stations around the Philippines.
MG Motor Philippines
MG Motor Philippines marked the next chapter of the brand’s electrification journey in the Philippines under the theme “The Next Wave Continues” with a trio of new models. Heading the charge was the new MG HS PHEV compact SUV, followed by the all-new MG RX9 PHEV 7-seat SUV, and completed by the MG4 EV Urban subcompact EV.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) unveiled the all-new Outlander PHEV SUV and launched the new XFORCE GLX variant. MMPC also displayed the Destinator 7-seat SUV and the Triton 4×4 pickup truck fully decked out in Mitsubishi Ralliart livery.

Nissan Philippines, Inc.
Guided by its long-term vision of “Mobility Intelligence for Everyday Life”, Nissan Philippines NPI introduced the all-new Nissan X-Trail e-Power compact SUV, and spiced things up with a limited Launch Edition. NPI also previewed the all-new Kicks e-Power compact crossover, the all-new Nissan Primera EV compact electric sedan and the much-anticipated all-new Nissan Navara Pro PHEV pickup truck. Meanwhile, Nissan loyalists displayed their personalized beloved GT-Rs, Z-cars, Navaras and Patrols in the aftermarket zone. With a fresh, all-new model line-up such as this, as well as a loyal following in the Philippines, Nissan is back in the running!
Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines
Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines (OJPH) showcased their plug-in hybrid and full electric SUV lineup with the Jaecoo J5 SHS Hybrid HEV and J5 EV electric compact crossovers, J7 SHS PHEV compact SUV, J8 PHEV midsize crossover SUV, and the boxy, retro-styled EJ6 EV electric SUV. New OJPH Vice President Weijia Luo was introduced to the local auto industry executives and the attending motoring media.

Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines (OJPH) Vice President Weijia Luo presented a fleet of attractive, technologically advanced Jaecoo EVs and PHEVs for the Philippine market.

Instead of human celebrities, visitors to the OJPH pavilion were entertained by this lady robot and her robot dog to showcase OJPH’s advanced technology.

Subaru Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc.
Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. (MIPI), the local distributor of Subaru, launched the Subaru Crosstrek e-BOXER Hybrid, its second electrified SUV model in the market, and showcased the WRX Wagon tS Eyesight symmetrical all-wheel drive (AWD) 5-door, and a couple of Forester e-BOXER Hybrid SUV, one plain and one equipped with the Adventure Pack.

Suzuki Philippines, Inc.
After marketing several mild hybrid (MHEV) models, Suzuki Philippines (SPH) marked a bold new chapter in its automotive journey when it unveiled the all-new Suzuki e VITARA, the brand’s first fully production-ready global electric vehicle. The e VITARA electric compact crossover SUV was accompanied by the Dzire Hybrid subcompact sedan, Fronx Hybrid compact SUV, XL7 Hybrid Black Edition 7-seat compact MPV, and the popular Jimny 3-door compact SUV.

Tesla Philippines
Under the slogan of “Building a World of Amazing Abundance”, Tesla Philippines showcased the Model 3 all-electric compact 4-door sedan and the Model Y all-electric compact 5-door SUV in base RWD and Performance variants. The American electric car company also introduced their Grok AI, their most revolutionary advancement to date that transforms the vehicle into an intelligent companion.

Toyota Motor Philippines
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) previewed three new models – the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ compact SUV that is designed to rival the Suzuki Jimny; the all-new Toyota Hilux BEV electric pickup truck and the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 HEV full-size hybrid SUV. TMP also wetted the eyes of speed freaks with their sporty Toyota GR Corolla track-ready, all-wheel-drive hot hatch and Toyota GR Supra sports car, both decked in Toyota Gazoo Racing livery.

TMP Senior Vice President for Marketing Sherwin Chualim enjoined the show goers to explore the all-new Toyota models – Land Cruiser FJ, Hilux and Land Cruiser HEV.

VinFast Auto Philippines
VinFast Philippines displayed their Limo Green midsize electric crossover, Herio Green electric taxi model, and VF3 subcompact EV, the most affordable EV in the market today. The upstart and fast-growing Vietnamese car brand also launched the RENTAPASADA Program, giving participants access to VinFast electric vehicles through flexible rental arrangements and opportunities to earn through the Green GSM platform.

Automotive Aftermarket Zone
PIMS 2026 featured a dedicated automotive aftermarket zone where show goers can view, inquire or purchase the latest automotive-related products such as alloy wheels, tires, batteries, accessories, oils & lubricants, car care products, and spare parts. Carryboy Philippines showcased their latest aftermarket overlanding campers as well as a food truck body while NutsRV Philippines of Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu displayed their recreational vehicle and camper models. There were booths carrying car care products including Meguiar’s with their latest product line.

Carryboy Philippines displayed two of their latest overhead foldable campers – with a longer version mounted on a Toyota Hilux Conquest and shorter one mounted on a Ford Ranger pickup truck.

The new generation Toyota Tamaraw lends itself well as a potential business vehicle and an ideal foundation for a food truck.

NutsRV of Cebu displayed their Ventura Explorer Motorhome installed on a Hino 514 Euro 4 light commercial truck…

… and another Ventura Explorer camper mounted on a Toyota Tamaraw 2-door cab and chassis pickup truck.
BSB Junrose Corporation had a large display pavilion highlighting Liqui Moly oils, lubricants & car care products, Brembo brakes, Furukawa batteries, and Sankei 555 steering, suspension & underchassis parts. BSB Junrose President Ian Bangayan was on hand to welcome visitors and guests, who were treated to coffee and refreshments on the pavilion’s second level. On the other end of the aftermarket zone, Mahle, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for major vehicle manufacturers, displayed their OEM filters, engine parts and gaskets, as well as their latest TechPRO and ArcticPRO diagnostic equipment.

In a nutshell, the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS 2026) showcased the latest vehicles from the 17 participating car brands, which are also CAMPI member-companies, while providing test drives for the show visitors, making it a viable sales activity for the exhibitors involved. There were no concept cars displayed but there were previews of vehicles that have yet to be launched in the Philippine market. Overall, PIMS 2026 also showed that, despite the high fuel prices, Filipinos are still crazy about cars!
