Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship, earning multiple accolades at the recent GREEN (Guarantee the Restoration of the Environment and our Ecological Niche) Awards. These honors underscore MMPC’s dedication to integrating sustainable practices into its operations and championing environmental protection.
The GREEN Awards, organized by the City Government of Santa Rosa under the leadership of City Mayor Arlene Arcillas and the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO) headed by Engr. Amor Salandanan, annually recognize public and private organizations that make significant contributions toward environmental sustainability, climate action, and ecological preservation.
The awards ceremony was held at the City of Santa Rosa Multi-Purpose Complex in Barangay Tagapo. During the event, MMPC received several distinguished recognitions, including the Special Award of Recognition for Environmental Sustainability and Stewardship, the Sustainable Development Award, the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Award, and the Earth Hour Advocate Award. These honors highlight MMPC’s proactive approach in surpassing regulatory requirements by embedding sustainable practices within its manufacturing processes.
