This year’s running of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which is officially known as the Formula 1 Heineken Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025, was held on November 22, 2025, at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It was the 22nd round of the 2025 Formula One World Championship.
Lando Norris of McLaren-Mercedes took pole position but lost the race to Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-Honda, who took his second win in Las Vegas and his 125th F1 podium. Mercedes-Petronas drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli took 2nd and 3rd places, respectively, despite Antonelli starting from P17 and carrying a 5-second penalty. Norris actually finished 2nd but was disqualified for McLaren’s skid wear infringement.

Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing-Honda) raises the trophy while 3rd place finisher George Russel awaits his turn. 2nd place winner Lando Norris (in orange) was later disqualified.
Before his disqualification, Norris joined Verstappen and Russel for a truly unique drive from the pit lane to the podium in a fully drivable, life-sized 1950s Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special convertible crafted entirely from LEGO bricks. This one-of-a-kind pink Cadillac, escorted by a pair of modern Cadillac Celestiq luxury sedans, chauffeured the drivers to the winner’s stage in a spectacle that masterfully blended nostalgia, marketing cleverness, and technical prowess, hinting on Cadillac’s Formula One ambitions for 2026.

Seventeen master builders, engineers, and designers from the LEGO Group invested nearly 4,000 combined hours to bring this automotive marvel to life. They assembled over 418,000 individual LEGO bricks into a vehicle weighing over two tons and stretching more than 16 feet long. Despite its unorthodox construction, the LEGO Caddy is fully operational, capable of carrying a driver and three passengers at speeds exceeding 15 mph, delivering the champions to their celebration at the Bellagio. TV host and actor Terry Crews drove the amazed and amused race winners in a moving LEGO display that stole the show from the Formula One race itself.
