The countdown to this year’s most exciting and highly anticipated 4×4 competition and overlanding event, the Trail Venture Epic Trophy (TVET), has begun with a month to go! To be held on September 24-27 at The Hamptons Caliraya, in Laguna, the very first TVET has attracted a large number of participants for the various activities during the four-day four-part event.

The EPIC TROPHY
The EPIC TROPHY off-road competition will be held around the forested areas of Caliraya with 20 teams comprised of 5 machines – 2 factory 4×4 vehicles with minor modifications, 2 highly-modified 4×4 off-road vehicles and 1 motorcycle compete for the bragging rights to be the first names on the PERPETURAL TROPHY.

The 5-man team will compete and dominate other teams using their skills, teamwork, physical endurance, and their spirit of adventure for 4 days and 3 nights. Aside from the cash prize and their names on the perpetual trophy, the winning team will represent the Philippines in regional 4×4 competitions, including the legendary Borneo Safari.
Competitors’ Briefing at Transcorp, Valenzuela City
Despite the heavy rains and flooding around several cities during the previous days, several EPIC TROPHY participants from various teams converged at the Transcorp NLEX Valenzuela City Showroom on August 20, 2026 for the Competitor’s Briefing. Members and representatives of Team Marikina, Team Boso-Boso, Team Libut, Team New Bay, Team Kuyaw, Team Baguio-Benguet, Team Ironman and Team Fred Garage arrived early to take a look at the much-vaunted 212 T01 turbo-diesel 4×4 SUV and the ROX 01 and ROX ADAMAS luxury all-wheel drive (AWD) range extender electric vehicles (REEVs).

212 T01: Off-Road Toughness, Redefined
At the heart of 212 Motor Philippines’ current model lineup is the 212 T01, a turbo-diesel 4×4 SUV engineered around a traditional body-on-frame architecture with a heavy-duty ladder-frame chassis, 5-link solid axle suspension system that provides greater wheel articulation over uneven surfaces, and a part-time 4WD system paired with front and rear differential locks, that provides unparalleled control and traction when navigating challenging terrain.

The 168 hp (125 kW) Aucan 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine produces 415 Nm of torque and is coupled to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. With 235 mm ground clearance and 850 mm water-wading depth, the 212 T01 is equipped to tackle any kind of Philippine terrain – from rough provincial roads and steep trails to muddy terrain and flood-prone areas. Its occupants are safely cocooned inside a contemporary cabin with 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster, 12.3-inch central control display, 360° panoramic vision system with transparent chassis perspective view, and premium seats with integrated heating and ventilation.
Even though the interior of the display units were still wrapped in protective plastic, the interior feels luxurious and coomfortable enough for those off-road sojourns.
ROX 01: All-Terrain Luxury, Reimagined
The ROX 01 REEV combines refined comfort and luxury with genuine all-terrain capability. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system produces 470 hp (350 kW) of combined power and 740 Nm of torque that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. With the battery fully charged, this REEV can travel up to 235 kilometers in pure-electric mode and more than 1,100 kilometers with the range extender.
The ROX 01 REEV combines refined comfort and luxury with genuine all-terrain capability.
With 5 dedicated off-road driving modes, 700 mm water-wading capability, and a 45° maximum climbing angle, the ROX 01 is designed to conquer rough terrain and tough driving conditions. It is also designed as an extension of the home with its “One Living Room, One Bedroom, One Kitchen” concept. Features such as a Tailgate Kitchen, camping mode, vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply, towing capability, and integrated outdoor equipment turns the ROX 01 into a versatile basecamp for outdoor experiences.
Designed to conquer rough terrain and tough driving conditions. the ROX 01 is also designed as an extension of the home with its many overlanding features.
ROX ADAMAS: The Luxury-Defining Global Flagship
Built around the philosophy of “Gliding Luxury”, the ROX ADAMAS, the brand’s global flagship SUV, combines powerful all-terrain performance with advanced technology and elevated luxury. Its 470 hp (350 kW) dual-motor 4-wheel drive (4WD) system churns out 740 Nm of torque and offers up to 235 km of pure-electric range and up to 1,226 km in combined REEV mode.
The ROX ADAMAS is a full-size flagship SUV that combines powerful all-terrain performance with advanced technology and elevated luxury.

Experience 212 and ROX at the 4×4 EXPO
The Trail Venture Epic Trophy will include a 4×4 EXPO, where machines and adventure merge. Get to explore and experience the latest 4x4s and electric vehicles (EVs) such as the 212 T01, the ROX 01 and ROX ADAMAS, as well as off-road and adventure motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), quad bikes, and other vehicles by test driving them around the paved and unpaved sections of The Hamptons Caliraya.
Part of the Trail Venture Epic Trophy is the EXPO where you can experience the 212 T01, ROX 01 and ADAMAS, and other models in the 4×4 test track.
At the SWAP MEET section of the 4×4 EXPO, you can bring, swap, sell or buy 4×4, off-roading, overlanding and other adventure gear, parts, accessories, and treasures from fellow adventurers. Camp under the stars with the OVERLANDING and MOTOCAMPING areas with fun activities such as bonfires, outdoor movie night, live performance, remote control (RC) vehicle crawling and races and a cook fest.
