Our featured Seiko wristwatch for today, Sunday, September 13, 2026, is this highly distinct, groovy, vintage 7006-7120 from February 1975. With a unique, squared-off cushion case design that is 36 mm wide and 41 mm long, this wristwatch has a blocky, geometric architecture that feels larger on the wrist than it actually is.
This groovy disco Seiko features an eye-catching faceted glass crystal that appears gem-like when viewed from different angles. As if by magic, the glass crystal is smooth on the outside but with multiple internal sections, which form a 9-facet prism structure that plays beautifully with the light.
The prismatic illusion created by the faceted crystal is aided by the vibrant gradient blue dial with a dark blue square in the middle. Lume-striped polished baton-style hour and minute hands point to striped polished indices while a day/date window is located at the 3 o’clock position.
