The adventure kicked off at the JETOUR Auto Quezon Avenue flagship showroom, where eager owners arrived before dawn on November 28. With a quick orientation and vehicle inspection, the convoy was ready to set forth on a memorable 13-hour road trip to Ilocos Norte. Throughout the journey, owners experienced the T2’s impressive comfort and stability over long distances, bonding over shared excitement and anticipation for the challenges ahead.

Known within the Filipino expatriate community for his unwavering support and enthusiasm for off-road adventures, Aldrin flew back home specifically to join this event. As one of the earliest T2 owners in Saudi Arabia, he has become a trusted voice for the brand—sharing technical insights, off-road tales, and inspiring fellow enthusiasts across borders.
Aldrin’s presence infused the event with extra energy, symbolizing how the JETOUR community has grown beyond international borders. His confidence in the T2’s capabilities was evident as he exchanged tips and stories with local owners, exemplifying the event’s core spirit: a community united by a shared passion for adventure and the vehicle that powers it.

The next morning, after a hearty breakfast at Venetian Hall, the convoy set out to explore Ilocos Norte’s stunning natural landmarks. Their first stop was the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos—an awe-inspiring limestone landscape carved by nature’s artistry. Owners captured striking photos alongside their T2s amid the surreal formations, sharing the wonder of nature’s craftsmanship.
From there, the group headed to Paoay Town Proper, where they enjoyed a delicious lunch at Smoke Bar & Restaurant before immersing themselves in history with a guided tour of Paoay Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning Spanish colonial architecture.
The highlight of the day was the off-road escapade at Suba, Paoay Sand Dunes. With the help of expert 4×4 instructor Leland Pascual, participants received a comprehensive Terrain Challenge briefing. As the convoy navigated the shifting sands—ascending steep dunes, traversing deep sand tracks, and mastering high-angle climbs—the T2’s advanced features shone through. Its intelligent powertrain, capable suspension, and cutting-edge traction systems allowed drivers to tackle each obstacle with confidence.
Participants pushed their skills further during a special advanced technique session led by Leland and Aldrin. Laughter and adrenaline filled the air as drivers learned to maximize the T2’s potential, testing its limits in a safe environment. One enthusiastic owner exclaimed, “The T2 handled the dunes better than I ever imagined. I can’t wait for our next off-road adventure!”
