Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML) has announced that its joint venture in China – Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. – will introduce their all-new midsize Frontier Pro pickup truck with internal combustion engine (ICE) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) versions. The Nissan Frontier Pro is the Japanese car brand’s first pickup truck that is designed, developed, and manufactured in China for global export while the Frontier Pro PHEV is Nissan’s first electrified hybrid pickup truck.

The Frontier Pro PHEV has a maximum range of 135 kilometers in full-EV mode and features a 6kW high-capacity intelligent vehicle-to-load (V2L) external power supply that can support a wide range of camping and overlanding equipment.
