If you noticed, we also measure and weigh our timepieces to accurate dimesions and weights:

We use a mechanical caliper to measure the case diameter…

… and its thickness from the top of the crystal to the case back.

When in doubt, we double-check our measurements with our digital caliper.

As much as we can, we try to remove the case back to take a peak at the movement, whether it’s manual-wound mechanical…

… self-winding or automatic mechanical…

… “Hi-Beat” automatic mechanical…

… and even battery-powered quartz or digital movements.

Using a digital scale, we weigh the watch with its bracelet or strap to determine how much it weighs on the wrist.

We welcome story contributions that will create contents for our Timepieces section as much as we welcome your suggestions that will help improve it. If you want your timepiece or collection of watches to be featured here, just leave a comment below and we’ll get in touch with you.

Next Thursday, October 8, 2026, we shall be featuring own of the oldest watches in our collection. See you next week!
