Vingroup has been ranked 340th in TIME’s World’s Best Companies 2026, solidifying its position among the world’s Top 400 corporations. This marks a remarkable ascent of nearly 500 places compared to 2025, making Vingroup the only Vietnamese company to be recognized on this prestigious list for two consecutive years.
The World’s Best Companies 2026 ranking is a collaborative effort between TIME, a globally renowned magazine with over a century of journalistic influence, and Statista, a leading global provider of market and consumer data. Companies are evaluated across three comprehensive dimensions: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and sustainability transparency, supported by an in-depth analysis of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) factors.
As the first and only Vietnamese enterprise to be included in the ranking for two consecutive years, Vingroup demonstrated outstanding performance across all three dimensions, earning an overall score of 81. It ranks 340th among the Top 1,000 companies worldwide, a significant improvement of 477 places from its previous position at 817th last year.
Exceptional Revenue Growth
Vingroup received an “Outstanding” rating for revenue growth. In the first half of 2026, the Group recorded a consolidated net revenue of VND 222.9 trillion, reflecting a 72% year-on-year increase from the same period in 2025. This growth was driven by robust performance in industrial manufacturing and real estate sectors. The Group’s consolidated profit after tax reached VND 20.904 trillion, a 4.6-fold increase compared to the same period last year, equivalent to 60% of its full-year target.
Enhanced Employee Satisfaction
In employee engagement, Vingroup ranked 398th globally, climbing 496 places from 2025. The Group has cultivated a dynamic work environment that fosters dedication, innovation, and employee well-being, emphasizing individual development and career growth.
Global Expansion and Ecosystem Growth
Over more than three decades, Vingroup has continuously diversified into new sectors, establishing new growth drivers and expanding its ecosystem into international markets. Today, Vingroup’s companies operate across 12 countries, creating employment opportunities for approximately 400,000 people worldwide.
Commitment to Sustainability and Green Transition
Vingroup remains committed to sustainability and transparency through initiatives focused on green transition, infrastructure development, and the creation of sustainable urban ecosystems. The Group’s efforts aim to generate long-term societal value alongside economic growth.
VinFast, the electric vehicle arm of Vingroup, has become Vietnam’s leading automotive brand by sales volume and aims to deliver 300,000 vehicles and 1 million electric motorcycles globally in 2026. Meanwhile, Vinhomes has pioneered the ESG++ urban model, integrating Regeneration and Resilience into its core ESG pillars—Environment, Social, and Governance—setting new standards for sustainable urban development across large-scale projects spanning thousands of hectares.
Strategic Expansion into Infrastructure and Green Energy
In 2025, Vingroup expanded into two strategic sectors: infrastructure and green energy. Through VinSpeed, the Group is advancing high-speed railway projects connecting Ho Chi Minh City’s Ben Thanh and Can Gio, as well as Hanoi and Quang Ninh. Additionally, VinEnergo’s renewable energy projects across multiple localities are contributing to regional connectivity, economic expansion, and the acceleration of Vietnam’s green transition.
Recognition and Global Impact
Vingroup’s achievements follow its historic inclusion in the World’s Best Companies 2025 ranking—the first Vietnamese company to earn this distinction. Several brands within the Vingroup ecosystem have also received international recognition, notably VinFast, which was previously featured in TIME’s prestigious rankings: the TIME100 Most Influential Companies 2024 and Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies of 2025. The latter acknowledged VinFast’s role in shaping the region’s economic landscape.
