DEEPAL has officially opened its first flagship showroom along Shaw Boulevard, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion and a pivotal step in the Philippines’ transition towards innovative, energy-efficient mobility solutions.
The grand opening event was a momentous occasion, gathering prominent government officials, industry leaders, automotive and financial partners, media representatives, and eager customers. Attendees witnessed the grand unveiling of DEEPAL’s retail and aftersales presence, a testament to the brand’s commitment to the Philippine market.
Leading the celebration were notable figures, including Mandaluyong City Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos and Vice Mayor Antonio Suva Jr., alongside key executives from Changan Automobile, headed by Vice Director Leslie Wu. Representatives from Autohub Group and DEEPAL Philippines also participated, underscoring the strong collaboration fueling the brand’s local launch.
During the event, Mr. Leslie Wu reaffirmed Changan’s long-term dedication to the Philippines, emphasizing DEEPAL’s role in pioneering sustainable and intelligent mobility in the region: “The Philippines is a vital market for Changan and DEEPAL. Through our partnership with Autohub Group, we are committed to bringing advanced, eco-friendly mobility solutions closer to Filipino consumers.”
Autohub Group President Willy Tee Ten reflected on the journey, describing the launch as more than just a milestone — it’s the beginning of a new era in mobility for the Philippines: “This is not only the start of our retail operations but also a celebration of our 27-year legacy. DEEPAL’s REEV technology represents a breakthrough that combines efficiency, performance, and practicality — a game-changer for Filipino drivers.”
He highlighted the benefits of electrified mobility, including long-term savings through reduced fuel dependency, lower operating costs, and enhanced efficiency. The event also showcased the support from banking and insurance partners, making advanced energy vehicles more accessible to a broader market.
A highlight of the day was the ceremonial turnover of 12 DEEPAL units to pioneering customers of the S05 and G318 REEV models—marking the brand’s first official deliveries in the country. An additional 56 units are scheduled for release soon, reflecting strong early demand and positive market reception.
The new DEEPAL Shaw showroom spans approximately 1,562 square meters, featuring four display vehicles and ten service bays. Designed as a comprehensive, full-service hub, it offers seamless sales and aftersales support to provide customers with an exceptional ownership experience.
