DJI Power 1000 Mini: 1,000 Wh of Electric Power When You Need It, Where You Need It

Last May 15, 2026, DJI held a global launch of its most portable 1kilowatt-hour (kWh) power station to date, the DJI Power 1000 Mini. Known internally as its model code, DYM1000M, this compact and highly efficient power source features a built-in 400-watt car charger and 400W MPPT module, which is ideal for camping, road trips, outdoor content creation, and wherever there is no electric outlet to draw power from.

The Power 1000 Mini is built around a 1008Wh battery capacity, which spawned from DJI’s extensive battery research and technology that is supported by more than 15 years of development, more than 700 battery patents, and validation across tens of billions of charging and discharging cycles. DJI claims that the lithium ferrophosphate (LFP) battery of the Power 1000 Mini maintains over 80% capacity after 4,000 charge cycles, which is equivalent to around 10 years of daily use.

DJI Philippines sent us the new DJI Power 1000 Mini to test and review. It came at the right time when brownouts are becoming rampant in certain areas around the metropolis.

Flexible Charging System

With its flexible charging system, the Power 1000 Mini can be charged by plugging it into a wall outlet, or through your vehicle’s 12V DC power outlet, or using a solar panel. Connected to a 220V AC outlet, the Power 1000 Mini’s LFP battery can reach 80% in 58 minutes or 100% in 75 minutes when in Fast Recharge Mode. The 400W car charger can fully recharge the device in 160 minutes using the optional DJI Power Car Battery Charging Cable*.

For our review – and partly because of the high cost of Meralco electricity and the skyrocketing fuel prices – we decided on the third option to charge the DJI Power 1000 Mini with free, renewable energy using a IBC Power PT100 foldable solar panel. The DJI’s built-in 400W MPPT module accommodates direct solar panel charging using the optional DJI Power MC4 Solar Power Charging Cable*. We have always subscribed to the idiom that “to make hay while the sun shines”, or make power while the scorching summer sun is shining bright!

DJI Philippines sent the Power 1000 Mini along with an IBC Power PT 1000 foldable solar panel and DJI Power MC4 Solar Power Cable*, which we used and enjoyed during a motorcycle camping trip.

IBMS Safety and DJI Ecosystem

As a safety measure, the LFP battery of the DJI Power 1000 Mini is built with flame-retardant materials and has passed nail-penetration tests. Its Intelligent Battery Management System (IBMS) utilizes 10 temperature sensors, while its temperature and operating status can be viewed on your mobile device using the DJI Home app. Its SDC ports allows it to support the DJI ecosystem, such as pass-through charging using the MC4 solar power charging cable and a solar panel.

With pass-through charging, the DJI Power 1000 Mini can charge select DJI drone batteries, including DJI Air 3 Series batteries, from 10% to 95% in 30 minutes using the optional DJI Power Fast Charge Cable for Drones*. You can use the DJI Home app to remotely manage ports and check real-time charging status. While we were supplied with the solar panel and the MC4 cable, we didn’t have the DJI drones and their batteries to charge and test this power station’s pass-through charging system.

The charging status and several functions of the Power 1000 Mini can be monitored and controlled using the DJI Home App.

Compact, Portable and Reliable Power Station

Measuring 314 mm long, 212 mm wide, 216 mm high and weighing just 11.5 kilograms, the DJI Power 1000 Mini was designed to be compact and portable but powerful enough to supply 1000W through one 3-prong and 3 two-prong AC outlets, two 12W USB-A and 1 100W USB-C ports, a USB-C retractable cable, and an SDC port. This portable power station can keep a mobile phone and laptop charged, or power 220V devices like a TV monitor, Wi-Fi router, a projector, an electric fan, or even a refrigerator for the ultimate camping convenience.

Of course, DJI designed the Power 1000 Mini for its core customers, the content creators, to charge digital cameras and drones or power photography lighting equipment and Bluetooth speakers. Back at home or at the office, the Power 1000 Mini can also be used as an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) when a device is connected through the power station’s AC output port and the Power 1000 Mini is plugged to a wall outlet. In case of a blackout, it supplies back-up power to keep connected devices running without interruption.

Aside from powering digital content creation, the DJI Power 1000 Mini can be used to power music creation in a remote area by powering an amp for an electric guitar .

Priced at PhP35,990, the DJI Power 1000 Mini is now available through DJI Philippines and authorized retail partners. It is also sold via DJI Philippines’ official online channels and select mall locations around the Philippines. If you ask us, it’s a really great bargain, especially when you need power where you want it, when you want it.

*Optional cables are sold separately.

As handy DIY enthusiasts, we found the DJI Power 1000 Mini as a convenient tool to provide 220V AC to equipment and power tools or charge their batteries when we’re working in an area where there’s no nearby electrical outlet.
