Prestone D-Tech 500 Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil

Meeting the requirements of API CI-4, ACEA E7, MB 228.3 and the stringent Global DHD-1 specifications, which combined the European and American standards together, Prestone’s D-Tech 500 is a full synthetic universal heavy duty oil for diesel engines. Suitable for older diesel engines, it is also suitable for low emission heavy duty diesel engines that use exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), particulate filters and other clean emission devices. Prestone also claims that D-Tech 500 minimizes oil consumption, maximizes intervals between oil changes, and neutralizes acids from diesel fuels with high sulfur content.

Prestone Anti-Freeze + Coolant

Prestone’s anti-freeze and coolant is prediluted 50/50 at the factory with 50% coolant and 50% water and it’s ready for use with its “E-Z Pour” jug. It’s ideal for topping off your vehicle’s cooling system or when the radiator is being drained and refilled during the recommended periodic maintenance intervals. POAT-compatible, it offers freeze protection up to -37ºC and boil over protection up to 129ºC and meets ASTM D3306 and D4985 corrosion standards. Prestone claims that the coolant will perform well up to 10 years or 300,000 miles (480,000 kilometers) and recommends it for Asian vehicles, such as Honda, Acura, Nissan, Infniti, Subaru and Suzuki.

Prestone DOT4 High Performance Synthetic Brake Fluid

Formulated to provide outstanding performance in high temperature brake systems in today’s modern cars and trucks, Prestone’s DOT4 High Performance Synthetic Brake Fluid reduces the possibility of fluid vaporization with its high wet and dry boiling points, which helps prevent vapor lock that leads to eventual brake failure. It also provides protection against the corrosion of metals within the brake system. Recommended for all anti-lock braking (ABS), disc or drum braking systems, as well as for hydraulic clutches requiring DOT3 and DOT4 fluids. Prestone further claims that their product meets or exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 4 requirements.

Prestone Automatic Transmission Fluid + Stop Leak

Meeting all the recommended requirements of vehicles serviceable by Dexron III or Mercon fluids, this high-quality ATF is designed to meet or exceed the needs of many vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions on the road today. Prestone claims that the fluid’s high and low temperature friction characteristics provide smooth shifting in extreme conditions and that it can revitalize and condition dry or cracked seals. Our sampler package came in three versions: a small pillow pack with 15 wet wipes; a regular-size pillow pack with 30 wet wipes; and a cylindrical plastic container with 30 wet wipes.
