The Next Dzire: Suzuki Unveils Hybrid-Powered Sedan at 2025 MIAS

Suzuki Philippines made a powerful impression at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with the launch of the All-New Suzuki Dzire Hybrid—a stylish and smart compact sedan now powered by Suzuki’s hybrid system. The highly anticipated reveal was led by Mr. Norihide Takei, Director and General Manager for the Automobile Division of Suzuki Philippines, as part of the brand’s celebration of 50 years in the Philippines.

In his keynote, Mr. Takei emphasized the milestone this launch represents.

“We are proud to unveil the All-New Dzire Hybrid—a vehicle designed to deliver a stylish yet practical driving experience for every Filipino,”he shared. “With advanced features, hybrid efficiency, and premium styling, it redefines what a compact sedan can be.” He also reiterated Suzuki’s ongoing commitment to providing innovative, fuel-efficient vehicles tailored to the needs of the local market.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Bolder, Smarter Dzire

The All-New Dzire Hybrid features a refreshed, more sophisticated exterior—highlighted by a redesigned front fascia, chrome-accented grille, and multi-light LED headlamps. Its streamlined silhouette flows seamlessly into new rear combination lamps, giving the vehicle a bold yet elegant presence on the road.

Inside, the Dzire boasts a roomier cabin with refined dual-tone interior accents, improved ergonomics, and a driver-centric dashboard. The GLX variant includes a 9-inch touchscreen display audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility—ensuring both function and connectivity. Rear passengers enjoy enhanced comfort with ample legroom, rear AC vents, and a foldable center armrest.

Hybrid Efficiency Meets Everyday Performance

Under the hood is Suzuki’s new 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder gasoline engine, paired with a hybrid system and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This combination boosts both fuel efficiency and driving performance, with hybrid features like auto start-stop and electric motor assist delivering smoother acceleration, reduced engine load, and quieter operation—perfect for city commutes and highway cruising alike.

Safety Comes Standard

The All-New Dzire Hybrid prioritizes safety, with six airbags now standard across all variants—including front, side, and curtain airbags. Additional safety features include:

• Electronic Stability Program (ESP)

• Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD)

• Hill Hold Control

• Rear parking sensors with camera

• Reinforced body structure

These enhancements have earned the Dzire a 5-Star Global NCAP Safety Rating for Adult Occupancy, ensuring confidence and peace of mind for every journey.

Suzuki Philippines announced that the All-New Dzire Hybrid will be available at all authorized Suzuki dealerships nationwide by the end of the month, with the following pricing:

• GL CVT Hybrid – PHP 920,000

• GLX CVT Hybrid – PHP 998,000

Customers can choose from these color options:

• GL Variant: Gallant Red Pearl, Arctic White Pearl, Magma Gray Metallic

• GLX Variant: Alluring Blue Pearl Metallic, Arctic White Pearl, Magma Gray Metallic
