Power To Lead: Toyota Motor Philippine Unleashes Smarter, Stronger, Safer New 2021 Fortuner

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) continues its streak of digital online launches with the unveiling of the highly-anticipated 2021 Toyota Fortuner. The updated model range is spearheaded by the new Fortuner LTD 4×4 and 4×2 variants that comes in an exclusive design, followed by Fortuner Q and Fortuner V variants with automatic transmission (AT), and the Fortuner G variant, which is available with AT or 5-speed manual transmission (MT). Starting at an affordable P1,630,000 for the Fortuner G MT, this new updated sport utility vehicle (SUV) offers great value for money with Toyota’s signature quality, durability, and reliability.

Like the American TV game show “Hollywood Squares”, TMP executives gamely answer the questions of the online media guests during the new Toyota Fortuner’s unveiling.

During the online launch of the new Fortuner, TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto recalled how the Fortuner changed the local automotive landscape at a time when entry level sedans and Asian utility vehicles (AUVs) were the crowd favorite because of their affordability. “The Fortuner captured the hearts of many Filipinos as proven by its strong sales”, said Okamoto. “It is an SUV that’s perfect for the Philippines’ flood-prone streets with an array of variants including a fuel-efficient diesel engine, a macho look that satisfies desires, and most of all, an affordable price – making it an achievable dream!”

TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto emphasizes the Toyota Fortuner’s role in fulfilling the Filipino SUV enthusiasts’ dreams.
