Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) announced the opening of Geely Quezon Avenue, its second Geely outlet in the country managed by its dealer partner, the Autohub Group. The opening of the Quezon Avenue showroom comes nine months after the brand was launched in the Philippines. The showroom was originally slated to open in March but was delayed due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

SGAP President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mikihisa Takayama warmly welcomed the Autohub Group to the Geely family. “This partnership is a huge step forward in SGAP and Geely’s goal to be a major player in the Philippine automotive industry. Autohub group has been in the Philippine automotive business for about 21 years, having at least 19 vehicle brands under the group’s distributorship and dealership business. Through the years, it has also established its name and credibility as the Philippine distributor of luxury European brands that includes MINI, Lotus, Pagani and Rolls Royce. Geely Quezon Avenue opened its doors on July 31, 2020 and will be open to serve customers from Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. “This is just the start of SGAP and Geely’splan to make it big in the Philippine automotive industry”, Takayama added. “As we begin to expand our nationwide dealership network, according to plan,we want to assure our customers that Geely is here to stay and exceed the expectations of Filipino car buyers.”
