Jimny Hub, a subsidiary of Rugged Rigs specializing in aftermarket products for the Suzuki Jimny, made a significant impact at the first-ever StreetShow Garage event, held on August 31, 2024, at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig City. The event featured a display of off-road-ready Suzuki Jimny 3-Door and 5-Door vehicles, attracting attention from enthusiasts and off-road aficionados alike.
Suzuki Philippines played a key role as a co-presenter of the event, underscoring its support and commitment to the Jimny community. Norihide Takei, Suzuki Philippines’ Director and General Manager for the Automobile Division, attended the event, where he expressed his appreciation for The Jimny Hub and all participants involved in making the StreetShow Garage event a success.
“I want to express our heartfelt thanks to The Jimny Hub for bringing together all the amazing companies that help make the Jimny experience so exciting for our customers. Your dedication and passion are what make events like this possible,” Takei said during his speech.
Takei also extended his gratitude to Jimny owners for their continued support, emphasizing that their loyalty is a driving force behind Suzuki Philippines’ ongoing efforts to exceed customer expectations and “ensure that every Suzuki owner feels supported throughout their journey.”
The event spotlighted customized Jimny 3-Door and 5-Door vehicles outfitted with aftermarket off-road kits and overlanding accessories. These showcased vehicles highlighted the Jimny’s reputation as a true off-roader, capable of tackling tough terrain and perfect for camping adventures.
In a nod to future adventures, The Jimny Hub announced plans for JimnyFest, the largest gathering of Jimny owners in the Philippines, scheduled for February 2025 in Nueva Ecija. More details on the event will be revealed in the coming months.
Suzuki Philippines also offered eventgoers a unique opportunity to test drive the all-new Jimny 5-Door. Two units were available, giving attendees the chance to experience the legendary off-roader firsthand. Suzuki representatives were on hand to answer sales and technical inquiries from potential customers.
