Don’t you just hate it when you have to spend an hour or more just to get your vehicle washed at your neighborhood carwash? Don’t you just hate waiting even much longer when the queue is long, especially after a short but strong thunderstorm came after a hot dusty day resulting in cakes of mud and streaks of grime all over your vehicle? Don’t you just hate staying in an open waiting area where you can get wet by the water and soap overspray from other vehicles being washed aside from your car?

Jetwash is the brainchild of businessman, serial entrepreneur and our good friend Dante Reyes, who also has a string of other businesses including Mr. Jeff laundry service. “My son Polo stayed in Canada for his studies and he noticed that laundry service and carwash outlets seemed to be next to each other in several locations”, Dante narrated. “It gave me an idea to venture into the carwash business after my laundry business has shown a steady growth.”
The first Jetwash automated touchless car wash is located at its own Jetwash Building, which has a immaculately clean and professional corporate look.
A String of Fortunate Events
“Before I decided to invest in the business, I observed the carwash that I used to frequent and took note of the waiting time before my vehicle was washed”, Dante continued. “I talked to fellow customers and realized that some of them are actually in a hurry but they don’t have a choice, so they had to wait. I then decided that my carwash should be fast and efficient.” He also observed that water was being wasted so he decided that a water recovery and recycling system should be installed in his future carwash.
Dante observed other carwash services before going into the business.
Dante got an offer from a family friend to lease a commercial property along Don Jesus Boulevard on the way into Alabang Hills Village in Cupang, Muntinlupa, but he wasn’t sure what to do with such a large area. After a few months, the family friend informed him that half of the property was already taken and leased by another company. Dante felt that it was a better opportunity because a smaller space meant lower monthly rental payments. He then decided to pull the trigger and build his carwash business on the unoccupied half of the property.
Dante planned for a carwash that has a corporate look that is also attractive, safe and cost-effective.
Lining His Ducks in a Row
A man of action, Dante flew to China on his own. He spoke with several suppliers and toured several factories to look at possible automated carwash equipment, water recovery and recycling machines, pumps, shop supplies, and other business necessities. He eventually selected the “touchless” system where only jet sprays of water, shampoo and air touches the car. He then shopped around for gratings, non-slip floors and other building materials to make his carwash safe, efficient and appear professional with a trademark corporate look.
Always the consummate professional, Dante envisioned a clean, corporate and professional look for his Jetwash carwash bays.
Dante credits his friends and co-members of the Mazda Miata / MX-5 owners’ club for helping provide him with local contacts, suppliers and supplies that his carwash will eventually need continuously. Dante felt that being a member of the Miata / MX-5 owners’ club was a big boost to start and maintain his business, especially since these owners will become his customers, too. He also credits his friends from his alma mater, La Salle, and his colleagues from the motoring industry for helping make it easy for him to find the right components to complete Jetwash.

The Jetwash Building
The first Jetwash was supposed to a single-floor outlet but because the equipment needed to be anchored unto strong pillars and beams, Dante opted to build a two-story building instead. He then had the brilliant revenue-saving idea to consolidate the offices of Mr. Jeff and his other businesses on the second floor, thus lowering the monthly rental expenses of Jetwash. Initially, he was hesitant to engage such a massive capital expenditure but his son Polo pitched in as his business partner and invested his own hard-earned money.

Dante convinced the occupant of the other half of the property to have the building façade finished with the same aluminum cladding as the Jetwash building to have a clean, unified and corporate exterior. His contractor was diligent in constructing the building to specs while keeping an eye on expenses. The local government readily granted Jetwash the required permits, especially with the water recovery and recycling system than Dante had installed. This system helps prevent contamination of the nearby Laguna de Bay, where used water and rainwater from the Muntinlupa area flows into.
Used water from the washing activity goes into a catch basin under the car wash bays and then into a sump tank where the water is pumped into a water recycling machine that is located in the equipment room of the building.
A series of filters and chemical treatments recycle the used water into clean, recycled water that is used to wash the next batches of vehicles without any adverse effect on their paint finish.
The Jetwash System
When we arrived at the carwash, there were several customers already waiting in line in front of the Jetwash Building while two vehicles were being washed in the bay. The entire automated carwash process is computer controlled and takes only around six and a half minutes. Manually ensuring the cleanliness and dryness of the vehicle’s exterior, the dedicated vacuuming of the interior, and the application of the tire dressing adds just a few more minutes. Jetwash promotes itself with two slogans: “Clean in 15”, which means the whole carwash just takes 15 minutes, and “360° for 360PHP”, which means the entire vehicle is cleaned all around for just P360.
Jetwash charges P360 for the car wash service regarless of vehicle size. The services offered are listed in the catchy “360° for 360 PHP” slogan.
This is what P360 at Jetwash automated touchless car wash gets you:
Step 1: Pre-Soak
The Jetwash system begins by spraying a medium-pressure mix of pre-soak chemicals and high-foam shampoo to loosen dirt. This process is performed in two cycles.
Step 2: Foam Generation (Air + Water + Chemical)
The car wash system draws a specialized, pH-neutral detergent from its chemical tank and dispenses millions of tiny bubbles, resulting in a thick, shaving-cream-like consistency—commonly known as the colorful lava foam.
Step 3: 360° High-Pressure Wash
A robotic arm with 360° rotating nozzles moves around the car, delivering high-pressure water for a thorough, scratch-free clean.
Step 4: Chemical Application (Atomized Spray)
Specialized cleaning agents, such as crystal coating wax, are applied using atomizing nozzles that turn the liquid into a fine mist for even coverage. Jetwash calls this the water wax process.
Step 5: Final Rinse
High-pressure water rinses away all remaining soap, dirt, and chemical residue.
Step 6: Rapid Air Drying
The cycle finishes with a powerful embedded drying system that uses high-speed airflow to dry the car quickly and prevent water spots.
After the automated touchless car wash process, Jetwash attendants “tap” the cleaned vehicle dry with specialized fabric/towels.
The black towel is used to “tap-dry” the vehicle’s upper body, the blue one for the lower body and the green one is used for the wheels. The towels are color-coded to ensure each one is used for a specific area to avoid swirl marks and scratches.
Coffee or Popcorn While You Wait
Customers have the option to stay inside their vehicle to watch the Jetwash automated touchless carwash system clean their vehicle’s exterior, or they can wait inside the glass-enclosed reception/waiting area where they can still watch their vehicle being cleaned while having a free cup of coffee. Jetwash even has a popcorn machine so the customers’ children (or the customers themselves) can have some snack while watching the automated carwash do its thing. Jetwash even has an charging station for electric vehicles. This carwash clearly has a thing for customer service and customer satisfaction.
You can have coffee while your vehicle is being washed. There’s popcorn, too, for the young ones and the young once. The coffee cups and popcorn bags are small because the WASH is FAST and DONE in just 15 minutes, sometimes even less.
The reception/waiting area is surrounded by glass panes where you can watch the entire carwashing process without getting wet. The lava foam step of the car wash is particularly entertaining to watch. Perhaps, that’s why some popcorn is needed.
Dante is thankful for sunny weather that brings customers into Jetwash. “Since the opening of Jetwash in May 12, 2026, we’ve washed more than 1,700 vehicles to date”, he stated. “We know that the number of customers will be lower during the rainy season, but that’s just the nature of the carwash business.” Dante continued, “However, the interest in the Jetwash automated touchless carwash system became huge that we received a lot of inquiries whether we’re opening other branches in the future, or if we have plans to franchise the business soon. Of course, we’d love to expand, but we have to be careful with our finances and mindful of the continuity of our service and customer satisfaction goals.”
Customers can also view their vehicles while the exterior is being manually “tap-dried”, the interior is being vacuum-cleaned, and and the tire dressing is being applied.
The reception/waiting area is air-conditioned and has comfortable seats and a coffee table for customers who want to work on their laptop computers while waiting.
There’s a bit of toilet humor when the sign in the comfort room poked some fun at the Jetwash motto of “Wash. Fast. Done.” and turned it into “Wash. Flush. Done.”
