The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI), official distributor of Chevrolet in the Philippines just launched their latest offering, the 2016 Chevrolet Trax.
Featuring Chevy’s signature dual port grille, swept back headlamps, chrome trim , wheel flares and wrap around tail lamps add to its aggressive look.
Inside you get an Electric Power Steering Leather trimmed steering wheel with a Motorbike inspired instrument cluster. a 7-inch head unit with Chevrolet MyLink /CD/MP3/WMA/Wireless connectivity with 6-speakers. The Trax can seat 5 adults with a flexible 8 seat configuration to allow you to “configure” the space to your liking.
Under the hood is the 1.4L ECOTEC 4 cylinder DOHC DVCP MFI Turbo Intercooled gasoline engine that puts out 140Ps at 4900-6000rpm and torque of 200Nm at 4900rpm mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode option. The Chevy Trax rolls on 215/55 R18’s.
Safety features are Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, Cornering Brake Control, Rear Wheel Boost, Roll Over Mitigation, Straight Line Stability, Engine Drag Control and Panic Brake Assist.
Convenience features are Hill Descent Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System and a Revering Camera.
2016 Chevrolet Trax comes in 9 colors: Carbon Flash Metallic, Summit White, Boracay Blue Metallic, Deep Espresso Brown Metallic, Orange Rock, Velvet Red Metallic, Blaze Red, Snowflake White Pearl and Switchblade Silver Metallic.
Price starts at Php998,888 for the Trax LS and Php1,218,888 for the Trax LT and is covered by Chevrolet’s 5 Year Warranty Program.
