Paired with the proven Toyota QDR (Quality, Durability, and Reliability) and trusted aftersales service, it truly stands out as the ideal vehicle for daily business operations.
This coming week, Toyota will showcase the remarkable versatility of the Next Generation Tamaraw across four key events in Metro Manila and Cebu. From September 9 to 12, the Tamaraw will participate in the Asia Food Expo (AFEX) at the World Trade Center, highlighting various business opportunities within the food and beverage industry.
From September 10 to 13, at the IEC Convention Center Cebu, the Tamaraw will be featured at PHILBEX Cebu, demonstrating its role as a reliable workhorse in the building and construction sectors. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the vehicle firsthand and experience test drives during the event.
Moreover, this weekend, from September 12 to 13, the local creative community will experience, for the first time, a Tamaraw GL Dropside converted into a DJ booth at the annual PURVEYR Fair. On the same dates, a Tamaraw GL Dropside will also be on display at the Die Cast PH Grandparents Pit Stop event at Cash & Carry Makati, showcasing the vehicle’s appeal to diecast collectors and inspiring creative applications.
Guests are invited to visit any of these four events where the Tamaraw will make its presence felt, offering a glimpse into its diverse capabilities and potential.
Different Configurations for Different Business Requirements
At AFEX, a trade show dedicated to food processing, packaging, handling machinery, equipment, and technology, Toyota is showcasing four configurations: the Tamaraw Utility Van, Tamaraw GL Dropside, Tamaraw Wing Van, and Tamaraw Ref Van. Meanwhile, PHILBEX Cebu will feature a Tamaraw GL Dropside, with test drives available—highlighting its suitability for the rapidly expanding construction and design sectors in Cebu. PHILBEX Cebu continues to drive growth and innovation within the Cebuano construction and design industry.
Taking the Next Generation Tamaraw into More Specialized Applications
The Next Generation Tamaraw takes on a different character at PURVEYR Fair, where two units will demonstrate applications beyond conventional passenger and cargo transport. Over the two-day event, a Tamaraw GL Dropside will be transformed into a DJ booth and a mobile flower shop, utilizing its open rear section as a versatile mobile platform.
On September 12, the Tamaraw DJ booth will feature performances from Waff, Roy De Borja, Okami, Average Bri, Nix Damn P!, and J Dope. The following day, September 13, artists such as Okami, ADMV, Michiko, Nix Damn P!, Butta B, and Yela Renee will close the event with captivating performances.
A Tamaraw Food Truck will also be present at the fair in support of Waves For Water, demonstrating how the vehicle can be converted into a functional mobile business space and a platform for advocacy.
Additionally, attendees of the Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines (DCPH) Grandparents Day Pit Stop will have the chance to see a Tamaraw GL Dropside. The growing diecast community in the Philippines has shown strong interest in the Next Generation Tamaraw, appreciating its modular and adaptable design—not only for business but also as a platform for artistic expression and leisure.
