MMPC Wins Two Prestigious Philippine Quill Awards for CSR and Government Relations

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) garnered two awards at the recent 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, highlighting the company’s exemplary communication initiatives in corporate social responsibility and government relations.

Recognized as one of the most esteemed awards programs for business communication in the Philippines, the Philippine Quill Awards are organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). It honors outstanding communication strategies and professionals that demonstrate excellence, effectiveness, and impactful results. The awards celebrate organizations that leverage strategic communication to produce meaningful outcomes for their stakeholders and communities.

At the award ceremony, MMPC’s efforts were notably recognized through two programs. The first, “DRIVE: Developing Ready Industry Vehicle Experts,” showcases MMPC’s OJT Technician Program, which focuses on skills development and learning while ensuring employment opportunities for automotive students at dealerships. This program received an Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility.

The second recognition went to MMPC’s stakeholder communication management, which played a key role in launching the company’s electrification initiatives. Detailed in the winning entry, “Two Roads, One Destination: Paving the Way for Local HEV Manufacturing in the Philippines,” this program was awarded a Merit Award in the Government Relations and Public Affairs category.

These accolades underscore MMPC’s ongoing dedication to nurturing future automotive professionals, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and contributing to the growth and progress of the Philippine automotive industry.
