In a nation frequently tested by the fury of natural calamities, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) reaffirms its dedication to community welfare with the launch of its expanded Calamity Assistance Program. This initiative is more than just vehicle support—it’s a testament to Isuzu’s unwavering commitment to compassion, responsibility, and solidarity in times of crisis.
Building on last year’s Typhoon Assistance Program, which primarily aimed to aid customers affected by floods and typhoons, IPC has broadened its reach to encompass a wider range of natural disasters, including volcanic eruptions, ashfalls, earthquakes, and landslides. This enhancement underscores Isuzu’s role as a responsible partner, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Filipino communities when they need it most.
“At Isuzu, we believe that resilience is built through compassion and community support,” said IPC President Mikio Tsukui. “Our expanded Calamity Assistance Program is a reflection of our heartfelt commitment to help our customers recover, rebuild, and regain hope amidst adversity. We see ourselves not just as a vehicle manufacturer but as a partner in community resilience.”
The program extends to all owners of Isuzu light commercial and commercial vehicles, regardless of model year. Those impacted by natural calamities can access a 30% discount on essential parts and repair services—covering engine, transmission, electrical systems, and collision body parts, aimed at restoring mobility and livelihoods swiftly.
While the program provides extensive aid, certain non-critical accessories, electronics, and services are excluded, such as audio systems, batteries, towing, painting, and sublet repairs. Customers are advised to contact their nearest Isuzu dealership to schedule service, with the program running until December 31, 2025, nationwide.
More than a service program, this initiative embodies IPC’s core values of empathy, responsibility, and community upliftment. It exemplifies how a corporate entity can serve as a pillar of hope and resilience—ensuring that no Filipino is alone in facing nature’s challenges.
In times of adversity, we stand with you. Because resilience begins with compassion.
