Suzuki Philippines has successfully concluded the exhilarating first leg of the Burgman EconoTour. This event put the acclaimed fuel efficiency, comfort, and convenience of the Burgman Street (including both Standard and Executive Class (EX) variants) through its most rigorous test yet. Spanning a challenging 275-kilometer route from Suzuki Caloocan to Coco’s Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan, the tour drew an impressive turnout. A remarkable 136 passionate riders joined the tour, completing the entire route, a testament to the scooter’s exceptional ride comfort and dependability. The event’s highlight was the astonishing fuel consumption achieved, even amidst rainy weather and diverse road conditions. The group recorded an average fuel efficiency of 70 km/L, far exceeding expectations. This impressive figure not only topped the WMTC fuel-economy ratings—54.9 km/L for the Standard and 56.8 km/L for the EX variant, but also cemented the Burgman Street’s reputation as a leader in its segment for economic performance.
Kicking off at 3:00 AM from Suzuki Caloocan Cyclemar 3S Shop, riders navigated highways and provincial roads through Pampanga, Tarlac, and Pangasinan before reaching the stunning beach resort in Bolinao. Media personnel and vloggers also joined the adventure, sharing the excitement live. Riders passed checkpoints at Suzuki’s trusted 3S Shops—Suzuki Pampanga Wheeltek 3S Shop, Suzuki Tarlac LGK Guanzon 3S Shop, and Suzuki Alaminos Guanzon 3S Shop. The first rider crossed the finish line around 10:00 AM, with the last arriving at 1:20 PM, showcasing the endurance and reliability of the Burgman Street.
Throughout the journey, participants praised the scooter’s plush seating, spacious floorboard, and smooth handling, all crucial for a comfortable long-distance ride.
