The event showcased HARI’s latest lineup of cutting-edge mobility solutions, reinforcing its role as a vital partner in the country’s journey toward a future-ready and resilient transportation system.
Timed on the month of the nation’s celebration of the Filipino worker and anchored on its vision to be a “Partner in Every Way”, HARI unveiled solutions that go beyond vehicles, opening to the participants’ future-forward options to succeed in business today. A key highlight was the launch of HARI’s initial lineup of electric commercial vehicles (ECV), signifying its commitment to sustainability and clean and efficient mobility.
Moving Cargo & Passengers with ECVs
The Hyundai Mighty Electric is a light-duty electric truck powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 120 kilowatts (163 PS/161 hp) and 326 Newton-meters of torque. With a 114.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Mighty Electric truck offers an all-electric range of 260 kilometers. Charging is efficient, with a 100-kilowatt DC charger providing a full charge in just 71 minutes. The Mighty Electric truck offers businesses multiple applications. Dealerships can coordinate with HARI’s partner builder, Centro Manufacturing Corporation, to customize the Mighty Electric to their specific business requirements.
The Hyundai County Electric redefines people movers with its 150 kW (204 PS/202 hp) electric motor delivering 403 Nm of torque and a range of 303 kilometers on a full charge. Equipped with a 128 kWh lithium-ion battery and rapid 72-minute charging time using a 100 kW DC charger, the Hyundai County Electric signifies the future of transportation that is clean, quiet, and comfortable.
Championing Filipino Workers & Local Businesses
Also launched during the event was the HARI Cab, a locally-assembled workhorse tailored for Filipino communities. The HARI Cab is powered by a 2,892cc D4CC diesel engine that produces 158 hp (160 PS) at 3,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,250 and 2,800 rpm. With a 100-liter fuel tank and complying with EURO 4 emission standards, the HARI Cab delivers best-in-class performance and environment-friendly logistics while supporting local jobs and transport efficiency for both urban and rural areas.
HARI Vice Chairman, President & CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo led the expo’s opening, welcoming esteemed guests from Hyundai Motor Company Korea and the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP). Addressing the event, Ms. Agudo highlighted HARI’s bold bid to transform and position itself as a key player in driving smart businesses through smart mobility. “We are here not just to see what’s new, but to shape what comes next, harnessing our drive, ingenuity, and ambition to push the boundaries of mobility and business”, she affirmed.
