Suzuki and SMDI Strengthen Ties with Luzon’s First Joint 3S Shop

Suzuki Philippines Incorporated and Solid Motorcycle Distributors, Inc. (SMDI) (one of Visayas strong
dealers) have strengthened their partnership even further with the official opening of their first joint 3S
Shop in Luzon. The milestone store is located at San Jose, Occidental Mindoro which is considered as
the center of trade in MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) Region. With this
promising location, both Suzuki and SMDI are optimistic to grow their business even wider making
Suzuki more accessible to the Filipino market. The two are reliable names in the motorcycle industry
especially in the Visayan Region, the move to open an exclusive Suzuki shop in Mindoro is SMDI’s step
to serve more Filipinos with their signature top notch service.

Spanning 257sqm, this exclusive Suzuki 3S shop by SMDI offers a complete customer experience,
encompassing Sales, Service and Suzuki Genuine Parts. Select from Suzuki’s iconic Underbones from
the fast and powerful Raider R150, the everyday ride Smash or the dual-purpose soldier, Raider J
Crossover.

Mindorenos can also check out the luxurious, comfortable yet affordable and economical Burgman
Street or choose the sporty and capable Avenis as well as the trusty Skydrive Sport. Also on the selling
floor are Suzuki’s backbone motorcycles front lined by the newly launched GIXXER Series with sporty
GIXXER SF250 and GIXXER SF155 to the naked street fighter GIXXER 155 and GIXXER SF155. Completing
the line-up is the Master of Adventure in mid-range version – the V-STROM 250 SX.

The grand opening was attended by key people from both Suzuki Philippines and SMDI including Suzuki
Philippines’ President Koichiro Hirao, Motorcycle Division Officers – Sales and Marketing Division Head
Joey Salavarria, Assistant to the Division Head and Marketing Department Head Daigo Morikawa,
National Sales Manager Erick Fernandez, Dealer Development Head Cyril Aguadera and South Luzon
Regional Sales Manager Ivan Nerona and from SMDI – President Pablo Chu, Managing Director Freddie
Bolodo and General Manager for Mindoro Operations Ulysess Centino. Dignitaries also joined the
festivity led by 22nd Chief Justice of Supreme Court of the Philippines, Hon. Reynato Puno and Mayor
of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, Hon Rey Ladaca. The event commenced with a motorcade followed
by the shop blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremonies with engaging activities and special promos to the
