Nissan Carmona, the latest addition to growing network of Nissan dealerships in the country, was inaugurated on October 8, 2025. Strategically located along the bustling Governor’s Drive, which is becoming the “automotive row” of the City of Carmona, the new facility further enhances the popular Japanese car brand’s accessibility for customers in Cavite and its surrounding areas.
At the start of the ceremonies, the officiating priest blesses the coins and candies that will be scattered across the facility as a symbol of good luck and prosperity.

The Carmona dealership marks Nissan’s growing presence in South Luzon and the fourth Nissan dealership operated by Synergyauto Ventures Corporation (SVC), which includes Nissan Alabang, Nissan Dasmariñas, and Nissan Sucat. The opening of Nissan Carmona featured a unique “Sorteo” Filipino fiesta-themed event with native food products such as taho and sorbetes were served along with a sumptuous buffet that included a big cauldron of delicious tinolang manok.

The man behind the growth of SVC, Tey Sornet, has worked tirelessly to expand their Nissan dealerships, with Carmona as their fourth outlet, after Nissan Alabang, Nissan Sucat, and Nissan Dasmariñas.
SVC Dealer Principals Doroteo “Tey” Sornet, Paul Angelo Tionson, and Mark Angelo Tionson, who were all wearing their elegant barong tagalog, led the opening ceremonies. Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI) President Masao Tsutsumi graced the occasion not just to inaugurate the new dealership but to also personally hand the Global Dealer of the Year Award that SVC won, besting other Nissan dealerships around the world, and bringing a huge honor to the country.

City Administrator Dave Penano, a loyal Nissan owner, represented Carmona City Mayor Dahlia Loyola, who could not attend the event because of a mild sickness. During his speech, Penano recalled that one of the very first car dealerships in Carmona was the former Nissan Southwoods that was located along the South Superhighway, which is now known as South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). He emphasized that Nissan’s presence in Carmona for more than 30 years has created a lasting bond with car-loving Caviteños.

Initially launched as one of two pilot Pop-up Store locations, Nissan Carmona quickly demonstrated market acceptance and sales performance. This success paved the way for the conversion of the pop-up store into a full Sales, Service, and Spare Parts (3S) facility. The 1,000-square-meter Nissan Carmona facility features the Nissan Retail Concept (NRC) Next that offers a modern showroom experience, a complete line-up of Nissan vehicles, and professional aftersales support. The dealership is also equipped with Nissan Express Service, providing fast and efficient maintenance for enhanced customer convenience.

Wearing a barong tagalog to match the native “Sorteo” fiesta theme of the event, NPI President Masao Tsutsumi delivered his keynote speech.
