CLARK INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY: Superbike rider Jacq Buncio demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill, overcoming significant mechanical challenges to secure a double podium finish in the opening round of the National Motorcycle Racing Championship. Competing in the Pirelli Lightweight 400 Pro category at Clark International Speedway, Buncio powered through adversity to claim second place in both Race 1 and Race 2 over the weekend.
This initial race of the National Motorcycle Racing Championship season was anything but easy for Buncio. She faced frustrating mechanical issues that tested her and her team. A transmission problem hampered her performance in Race 1, requiring careful management on the track. In Race 2, a broken shifter presented yet another hurdle. Despite these technical setbacks, Buncio maintained her composure and determination, skillfully navigating the challenges to earn valuable podium finishes in both events.
Between the demanding races, Buncio’s dedicated crew worked tirelessly and under immense pressure to get her bike back in optimal condition. Their crucial, last-minute repair efforts were instrumental, ensuring she made it to the grid for the afternoon’s second race, a testament to the team’s commitment and expertise.
