Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has reported impressive growth across all truck categories (III to V) from January to August 2025, compared to the same period last year. This positive trend is supported by data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), and the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. (TMA). Maintaining its position as the market leader, IPC secured a commanding 42.7% share of the overall truck industry.
In August 2025 alone, IPC sold a total of 3,200 truck units—an increase from 2,912 units sold in the previous year—representing a 10% year-on-year growth. This milestone underscores the continued trust and confidence Filipino businesses and consumers place in the Isuzu brand, reflecting its reputation for reliability and performance.
A Message from IPC President Mr. Mikio Tsukui
“We at Isuzu Philippines are deeply honored by the unwavering support from Filipino businesses and individuals. This trust is a testament to our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience from sales to after-sales service. The growth across all segments—from light-duty to heavy-duty trucks—demonstrates our ongoing mission to provide dependable mobility solutions tailored to the diverse needs of our customers,” said Mr. Mikio Tsukui, President of IPC.
Sustained Leadership Across All Truck Categories
Category III – Light-Duty Trucks
Leading the segment, Category III trucks sold 1,934 units, capturing a 42.9% market share. The Isuzu N-Series remains the preferred choice for logistics and distribution companies nationwide, renowned for its powerful engine, durable build, and driver-friendly features. The availability of Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) enhances drivability in urban traffic and varied road conditions, while an ergonomic cabin design prioritizes driver comfort. These attributes continue to set the N-Series as the benchmark in light-duty trucking.
Category IV – Medium-Duty Trucks
IPC’s Category IV trucks also posted robust growth, with 998 units sold—accounting for a 43% share of the segment, reflecting a 4.4% increase over the previous year. The Isuzu F-Series remains a top choice for businesses requiring reliable medium-duty solutions for long-distance transport and industrial applications, driven by its dependability and performance.
Category V – Heavy-Duty Trucks
The heavy-duty segment experienced a significant 4.4% increase in market share, capturing 40.3% of industry sales with 278 units sold. This growth is largely attributed to heightened demand from government infrastructure projects and large-scale logistics operations. The Isuzu S&E Series, leading this segment, offers substantial payload capacity, a robust chassis, and advanced safety features such as Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC) and an Advanced Instrument Cluster with Driver Coaching—enhancing safety and operational efficiency.
The Isuzu Advantage: Comprehensive Aftersales Support
Beyond product excellence, IPC’s market leadership is reinforced by its extensive after-sales support network, designed to help clients maintain optimal vehicle performance while minimizing operational costs and downtime. With a nationwide dealer network and readily available parts, IPC ensures uninterrupted access to essential services. The Isuzu Mobile Medic provides on-site maintenance and diagnostics, while a team of Expert Field Engineers offers technical support across the country.
Furthermore, IPC invests heavily in training programs for drivers and mechanics, promoting safe and efficient vehicle operation. These initiatives contribute to long-term customer satisfaction and business success, supporting clients throughout their ownership journey—from purchase to after-sales service.
Looking Ahead
“The steady growth throughout 2025 makes us optimistic about finishing the year on a high note. Our continued focus on product innovation and customer service remains central to maintaining our leadership as the country’s most trusted truck brand,” added Tsukui.
