BYD Cars Philippines expanded its reach into Southern Luzon, specifically Cavite and neighboring towns, with the opening of BYD Carmona. Owned and operated by the Pure Motion Group, BYD Carmona is located along the growing “Automotive Row” on Governor’s Drive in the City of Carmona, Cavite. The expansive showroom, fully-equipped multi-bay service workshop, and well-trained sales, service and parts personnel are all ready to serve the automotive needs of the people of Cavite.

After cutting the ribbon, the VIPs showed the Number #1 sign while proclaiming “BYD is Number 1!”
During her welcome and opening remarks, BYD Carmona GM Patricia Lee announced that the dealership is ready to “excite and electrify” the City of Carmona and nearby towns.
Cavite 5th District Congressman Roy Loyola also represented his wife, Carmona City Mayor Dahlia Loyola. He stated that they are both proud of the business growth brought about by BYD into the city.
BYD General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division & President of BYD Japan Liu Xueliang spoke in Mandarin of the global growth and technological advancement of BYD Cars.
AC Mobility Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala spoke about how BYD Carmona is part of the EV ecosystem that their company is creating to benefit Philippine transportation.

After the customary ribbon-cutting ceremony, keynote speeches, token exchanges between the dealer principals and the distributor, and the ceremonial handover of the first vehicles delivered by BYD Carmona to its first customers, the guests of the Filipiniana-themed inauguration were treated to the lighting of the tall Christmas tree and Christmas décor around the showroom that were plugged into the V2L (vehicle to load) outlet of the BYD Seagull EV parked inside. It not only demonstrated the electric supply capability of BYD EVs but also served as an analogy of how BYD can “empower” communities.
