ACMobility and Basic Energy Partner to Power Renewable EV Charging Nationwide

ACMobility, the end-to-end mobility arm of the Ayala Group and a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in the Philippines, has announced a strategic partnership with Basic Energy Renewable Corporation (BERC). This collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment of renewable-powered EV charging stations across the country, supporting the Philippines’ transition to sustainable mobility.

Under this partnership, ACMobility will jointly develop and operate charging hubs at locations identified by Basic Energy. By integrating ACMobility’s expertise in charging infrastructure and digital mobility solutions with BERC’s renewable energy capabilities, the initiative seeks to deliver a reliable, seamless, and environmentally friendly charging experience for Filipino EV drivers.

Harnessing Renewable Power for E-Mobility

Rooted in Basic Energy’s comprehensive renewable energy roadmap including solar, wind, geothermal, and energy storage—the partnership signifies a strategic shift into e-mobility. It also aligns with Basic Energy’s broader efforts to support the EV transportation sector by establishing accessible charging stations nationwide.

A Seamless Charging Experience with Evro and Total Philippines

All charging stations developed under this partnership will be integrated with Evro, ACMobility’s comprehensive charging app. The platform enables users to locate stations, monitor charging status, and pay effortlessly, providing a consistent and user-friendly experience nationwide.

The initial rollout will feature co-branded Basic RePower–ACMobility charging facilities at a Total station along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX Northbound) in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This pilot site will serve as a model for future installations, demonstrating how collaboration between energy and mobility leaders can accelerate EV adoption across the Philippines.

Expanding the Philippine EV Infrastructure

Building on this momentum, ACMobility continues to expand its EV charging footprint across the country. Currently operating multiple hubs in Luzon, the company is extending its reach to Visayas and Mindanao, while developing digital tools to make charging simpler, more accessible, and rewarding for both individual consumers and businesses.

With over 100 operational locations and an additional 70 in development, ACMobility aims to achieve 700 charging points nationwide by the end of 2025. This extensive network will serve as the backbone of the Philippine EV Spine—connecting key cities and provinces from Pagudpud in the north to Pagadian in the south—ensuring drivers have reliable access to charging wherever their journeys take them.
